Whether or not imaginary divine entities are brought into it, if nothing is in our hands, then neither leaving nor not leaving are in our hands. Either way, that would just be another part of the 'flow of life as it is'.

Better according to which set of arbitrary value judgements?

Thanks for your thoughts, @Martinguptill12 The self-others idea certainly helps to keep the story rolling and to make it seem as though that imagined self is somewhere for some jolly important reason. When that idea falls away, there isn't any you to either participate or not participate, help or no...

Thanks Ashu

Your dictionary must be a fun read. How can no particular theory be extreme?

Of course there is no need to watch my nonsense. There is no need to watch any of the nonsense. We just do it for fun.

Hello again, Ashu Thank you for your further thoughts. I am familiar with many scientific theories, including the ones you mention, and like all human thought they are all thoroughly entertaining. I am also familiar with the definition of the word Republic, thanks for asking. But if there are any ot...

Thanks you for your thoughts, Ashu Entertaining as ever. I did go outside and take a look around me and strangely, Italy was not there. Just some trees and early spring flowers, a foraging squirrel, various song birds, the earth and the sky with some fluffy white clouds through which the sun is poki...

Thank you for your thoughts, Princess I personally have no need to invent any future at all. I have no need to invent a God or speculate about what (s)he may or may not want. I have no need to invent an afterlife. Living life fully in the present moment is eternity. Eternity is here now. This is it....

"to let go and not participate nor to take responsibility nor offer our gifts to the world is less than I believe was intended." Joyous My experience is that letting go leads to dramatically more creation, rather than less, the moment you start doing what you love doing for its own sake, rather tha...

Thank you for your thoughts, Joyous You are welcome to your beleifs and I have no wish to persuade anyone of anything. Thought is just thought. I stopped feeling any urgency the moment I discovered unconditional love and stopped judging things 'good' and 'bad'. Unconditional love really does leave m...

Thank you for your thoughts, Pollie There is no need to strive for a 'better' tomorrow if you already love and are happy today. Love is unconditional, as is happiness. It is in no way dependent on circumstances. Unconditional means no judgement, so there is no way of deciding what might be 'better' ...
