I know the Joy Luck Club came out a few years ago, but we just sat down and watched it again over the winter break. It is a fabulous movie about 4 mothers and their daughters. The daughters don't understand their mothers... until they tell them what their pre-American lives were like over in China. The understanding and compassion that each one learns to have for the other brings forth the love we all desire to give and receive... the unconditional kind! luv
