I think we came here to learn and share something with each other. Let it go and let God operate our lives as this can be a very good and useful thought. But it does not help if you just let go and not participate in order not to take responsibility. Offering our gifts to the world is something helps others.

The self-others idea certainly helps to keep the story rolling and to make it seem as though that imagined self is somewhere for some jolly important reason.
When that idea falls away, there isn't any you to either participate or not participate, help or not help.
Life carries on by itself, effortlessly.

Since nothing is in our hands it is better to leave everything on god for the operation of the different activities of our life and let go the flow of life as it is.responsibility nor offer our gifts to the world is less than I believe was intended.

Whether or not imaginary divine entities are brought into it, if nothing is in our hands, then neither leaving nor not leaving are in our hands. Either way, that would just be another part of the 'flow of life as it is'.
Better according to which set of arbitrary value judgements?
