When we perceive with clarity
and wash all preconceptions away,
when we let the sunshine in
and let it peel the grey away,
when we actively put forth the effort to see things
as they are below the surface;
that is when we may discover
the bright personalities
and gifts beneath the pedestrian facades
that have become pasted
across the faces of our fellows,
by our own ignorance and predjudices.
What a wonderful world
full of wonderful people is waiting for us ,
if we but throw the filters away
and see with unencumbered sight!
