Hello Luke! Warm welcome to the Peak!!!
I've seen this story. It is incredible the hurdles this father's love will tackle to make life full and strong with outstanding love. Yet this world is full of disabled parenthood, infirmed relationships and weeping wounded souls. People need to return to their first love and awe at the sight of their child. To protect, encourage, accept and adore the life that has been "given" to nurture and empower.
Parents can too often get to acting so perturbed when baby decides to be a person. When control is within the individual and not Mommy and Daddy as we grow up and become teens and adults. How hard is it to love, respect and encourage instead of burden, belittle and disappoint. Yes! Parents think they are disappointed when Jr or Jr Miss do something they do not approve... yet how they express that can either challenge that child to think and choose wisely feeling upheld and loved or be provoked and pull away feeling unloved and unaccepted... now that... that is disappointment! There is no age limit on being a child or a parent. You just are and needs never change... all anyone ever longs for is love, respect and some positive reinforcement. Discipline means to teach... not to be angry and disrespectful while demanding what?... respect.
Luke, thanks for the video... It made me think far beyond what was being shown... the power that LOVE can give is astounding. It is always and continually needed by every person to reach their full potential and the wholeness of who they were birthed to be!

Thanks Janice for the welcome and the thoughts!
My wife and I are expecting our first child this summer so your words mean a lot. It sounds like you have some experience in being a parent and even more in loving. Thanks again!
