I thought I was alone.

But, in the stillness, I felt You touch me;

Not a voice or a vision, but a thought,

A gentle thought

Leaving pleasantness around me;

A softness to my day;

A tender light cradled in darkness

Where I can come and warm myself,

As by a fire.

Thank you.

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadows.

This is stunningly beautiful... I can say most gratefully that I have experienced this gift that you speak of. I understand it. It is an honor to feel a soul touch your own. It is amazing how in aloneness... how often I know I am not.

Your writing here is so gentle and evokes deep emotion.

I love the giftings from your rich and beautiful soul!

Follow your honest convictions, and stay strong. - William Thackeray

The bottom line, especially for my character,
is the issue of unconditional love.”
