Hello and love to all,

I googled myself (yes this in now a verb and has meaning!), and this wonderful topic came up!

Maybe you (or THE) angels were listening and helping, either way, I have found out what teaching music means to me, and have found the perfect outlet! No, not being on stage with Madonna or Sean Combs (I'm not against that if it helps me teach music!!!), no, in my case, nerding out like Schubert or Bach.

In addition to learning amazing fine points of composing, like, what Beethoven learned from Haydn, what Mozart learned from CF Bach or what London learned from Handel, I've learned how to stay the course and be careful to avoid traps like what made Bizet's or Schubert's lives unsuccessful.

Bach only had a dozen or so of his songs published in his day! Now he is the standard of many things including Fugues, Choral techniques, counterpoint, and his 2 books of 24 Preludes and Fugues was the groundbreaking beginning of playing in any key! - yet in his day was rather unknown!

The thing I've learned is: perfect your art, craft, devotion or whatever it is, and if the rewards are to come, fine. If not, fine also. Bizet's opera Carmen was such a flop that the disaster likely killed him. That I will avoid. Schubert had revolutionary friends (one executed as a traitor!) so I won't do that (sorry to my revolutionary friends! ) - I am an Evolutionary, not a Revolutionary.

I'm so happy that before I shared links to the insides of the CDs, now I can share links to the insides of my books! For my dearestestest friends here and any friends of yours, under Creative Commons license, please study hared and thoroughly enjoy:

Somehow the angels were listening (THAAAANKS!!! luv ) and now I am embarking on the next levels of teaching music and playing. I am designing ACTIVE MEDIA like books you can turn the screen and it recreates new TOC (Table of Contents) and links automatically, and I will be finding out how to collaborate using Google (all praise the Great Google!) in ways old Mozart never though of!

That is enough for now, but you can always hear my music in a nice player at

Hi and blessings, all,

The funny thing is, wanting to do it is much easier than the real thing! So to be completely legal, I can't include pieces I was including to teach things.. see this discussion:

http://imslpforums.org/viewtopic.php?f= ... 232#p39232

I can't include Satin Doll because.. who knows! Someone will sue me for trying to teach music? I guess so. :(

I'll have to find something else, I guess this is where classical is better - copyright has expired, whew! OK Mozart, wha'cha got? He he..

Meanwhile I just want to share with you all, I've been updating my books, learning tons of beautiful songs and writing scores for so many of my songs! The original intention of this post IS SATISFIED! Not it's just the sort of drudgery of being 110% legal, dotting every i.. whew!

A magical piece I rearranged to be easier to play, I think the title means Mysterious Baracades:

http://webpageexperience.com/process/FC ... icades.mp3

http://webpageexperience.com/process/LesBaricades14.pdf my arrangement!

I think in my case, THE LEARNING of the music, thanking the artists like there Francoise Couperin is my new friend.. luv THIS is the benefit, my goal being met just right! If and when The Universe decides to make my lessons more available to people, yay! For now I just keep scoring and playing! https://www.reverbnation.com/teovincent4

Love 2 u all,

I'm so very glad this is all still here!

I donate about 10 products a day into Little Free LIbrary boxes, my 9 CDs or a Water Meditation DVD I made with Inda.

If I find a new box (Library) I donate one of my sheet music books and a few more CDs - 2 of the CDs are the music from the books.

I'm doing what we call "paying my dues," "getting out there" and making an influence in my area! Every run, like the newest CDs all say "Music available for licensing at Vincent4Licensing.com" which is new, so every time they get better! I found a newer style sleeve, totally clear and will still hold 2 CDs if it needs to and is more waterproof!

As I mentioned in the last .. episode? Blog? Log? .. Last post here, it is actually easier imagining what you can do, than doing it, but luckily I love making dozens of products every day and sharing them! I truly believe I'll be sharing in here when a producer or MUSIC SUPERVISOR (from my book on Licensing) buys some material! Then I'll be offering anyone in here things for free or maybe review them for me?

I also believe fully that this portal, vehicle for me to share my goals in all the positivity that they are full of, this opportunity to tell you these projects and fulfillment, this has helped it happen greatly! Thanks ever so for being there.. here.. for me!

Luck 'n' love,
Teo do

Again, SOOO glad this is all still here! luv I'm calling this writing St. Pattie's Day 2021 a sort of SUCCESS LIST or status check.. Briefly: Got a new computer, named "Bach." Goal was, write a score a week, then in 20 years I'll have opus #s over 1000! Maybe that is still a goal, but here is the more short term, really exciting project to do:

I found a Gavotte that is mis-named so it is hard to find, and it is so beautiful! On the page there are 2, the main one in Major and another in Minor. You see, I play guitar as well as piano and have always loved "Folk Dances" where a couple does some steps, spins and says "Ole!" then it starts again, like an Alagria. I think I'll use this song as a sample of this "Making guitar pieces more available for more people to enjoy!" I've always thought I should run a "Latin Workshop" where whomever comes, we find material to do, and it might not sound perfect but everyone can learn some percussion, phrases, improvisation and so on.

I'll first make a "Jazz Chart" for it, just chords and melody. Then I'll expand it to more of a keyboardist piece, 2 juicy hands of chords, I'll think of Liszt's Liebestraum when I do that. Meanwhile I'll also simplify it so that beginners can each play 1 part, simple parts, but break it into a duo piece. I used to say: "At the conservatory they have 'Harmony,' I should teach 'Jam-In-E!'" See, anyone who jams knows Jam In E is going to be a lot of fun! :^ -- to be continued

There are many forms I know on guitar and on piano there seems no instructions:

Rumba! Allegria. Bulerias. Gavotte. OK I know Mambos, Merengue, Son etc.. a Tango, some of Yradier's Habaneras now - El Arreglito (Carmen's Habanera origianal) & Paloma - it's a Tango but sings about leaving Havana! I'm sure I've forgotten some, like I play Granados by Albeniz and am working on his Cuban Rhapsody, also one of his simply called Cuba… I digress.. the idea is: I know the guitar, more ancient (?) form of playing, and now the exacting science of Chopin, Brahms, Liszt, Debusy, Mozart etc.. like:

Handel's Sarabande, OK that's a form, but it turns out it is Handel's version of "Folia De Espania" or something, by Corelli! Salieri has a nice 21 variations of Folia, others do too. So now I can go BACK IN TIME to the source, see? Similar with other songs & forms.

This is my new vision, combining a non-classical, maybe you could say Jazz style, like after 2 verses 1 verse improvisation then "Da Capo" (back to the top), close it out with the initial theme! This is combining what I knew and what I know now after oh, 5? 8? years at the conservatory. "Jamming Classical" is what makes sense to me, but probably not anybody else!

MAY I BE ABLE TO JAM CLASSICAL AND HAVE THE FUN OF JAMMING AND THE BEAUTY OF CLASSICAL COMBINED! AMEN! AND SO IT IS.

Thanks for "listening!" he he.. Love'n'light, Teom

Gavotte is finished! 1 of 2 is, the main song I wanted, for piano anyway. Funny think: it is often when I am "talking to friends like this" when I realize, oh! Upload it so it can be shared! Maybe this is a benefit since there doesn't seem to be a way to upload files into InspirationPeak.com and once I realize this.. I start uploading! I'm putting back up a folder that was lost, a server lost all my files a while ago, I have a link to an archive but I want to put the files so that I can show them, now it's uploading the whole folder.. IT WASN'T THERE! Thanks for being there, you reader, so that now I remember to upload my files and share them! Coming in a minute, Gavotte sheet music as well as a piano version and a "sweep pad" one, sort of mystical sounding?

This will be a first example of a "jamming classical" work of mine, or more properly "assisting ensemble participation and improvisation" by helping people access the music! I won't share the original score I found, like I said it was hard to find! I think my goal is: MAKE IT EASY TO FIND! I will add regular guitar chords next ( D, G, C#m, F#m and so on ) then I think I'll make a version designed for 2 beginners, so it'll be simplified, starting with the melody easy for anyone to play!

Amazingly it reminds me of a form I was inventing after playing in Nigerian High Life bands, the form is similar! High Life Gavotte? Maybe Gavotte means something else actually? Anyway this is a way I feel I'm PLAYING WITH FRIENDS, this is the material that people can use to express themselves either alone or with others! Back to the original meaning of music eh?

May it be appropriate to share this with you here, and may it all be received with the same positive energy it is shared with! And so it is! ENJOY, BUDDIES! :xmas:
