Are you a Country Mouse or a City Mouse?

We all have a place we feel ' at home ' ... whether we live there or not!

I like to visit the city... but ya! I am a Country Lion~* through and through! Give me an open valley surrounded in high glacier peaks... lakes and meadows...ahhhhh... there I am home!

I would have to say that I am a country mouse.

When I was growing up living in a small town I thought I was a city mouse but when I moved and lived in the country I still thought I was a city mouse.

Now that I moved back into town I would have to say I am a country mouse.

So you are probably thinking I am one of those who think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. But I would have to say no. It just took me a while to figure out who I was.

Great question Lion~*!!!

I for one love living and working in the big city... preferably a real city... with beautiful parks, museums, libraries, subway systems and lots of diversity. New York, Paris, London, Tokyo.... I'm perfectly at home in any of these.

Of course, the perfect situation would be to live in a great city and then have a cottage an hour away in the country where I can sneak away and play or read or go for long quiet walks anytime I want to. ;)

I was born and raised for half of my childhood in the city.

I live in a fishing village now. I love the tranquility of walking the beach searching for beach glass. I love watching the fishing boats cut through the sea, and dissapear into the horizon. I love to breathe in the aroma of the sea.

I would never stray far from the ocean. It is so soothing to my soul! luv

I am most at home where there are mountains and oceans and warmth.

Country mouse. Definitely prefer to live in a rural area & small town. The city is nice to visit, since, it has more options.

An interesting question. I love the excitement of the city, especially New York City, which is only a little distance from my house. Broadway, Greenwich Village, China Town, Little Italy, I love it all. But I could never stay, even in a hotel there overnight, as I need the quietness of a more rural town in order to sleep.
Have a blessed day!

I grew up in the city and I have spent all my life in the city. Therefore, I can't imagine living in the countryside (away from civilization ) :)
