In a moment

They say a poem's not really a poem until you share it with someone else. And that's what this place is all about.

In a moment
you can store a lifetime's worth of beauty
from a single glimpse of one wild flower

In a moment
you can store a winter's warmth
from the love in just a passing touch

In a moment
your smile can make life seem worth living
to a soul that's drifting without power

In a moment
your truth can reassure the doubters
giving them the peace that means so much

Yes.... a moment can change anything... everything.... just one.

What a lovely poem to come find on this dark thundery night! Just lovely to come back after a very long time to find meaningful words of a friend waiting to be heard. Thank you, dear Peter for your heartfelt sharing.

Quite a beautiful piece. Yes, a positive moment of truth can redeem one's soul giving hope and shedding light where there was once only gloom and despair.
