Now we lay down
beneath the gleaming moon,
her song of welcome
beckons our dreams.

Now we close our eyes
and await her tender smile,
her blessing upon our
hopes for tomorrow's coming.

Now we die a little death
knowing we're safe
beneath her watchful gaze,
our souls fly.

Now, we dance among her stars,
revelling in eternity's canvas
of wishes and bountious love,
remembering yesterday with smiles.

And now, we wake to the rising sun,
his warm hands returning our souls,
our hearts reclaim our dreams,
to lead us into tomorrow.

Beautiful poem! Your words give me that hypnotic spell to get that much needed sleep at the end of a tiring day-blissful and full of sweet dreams.
