You’ll find me there,
At the foaming lips of the ocean
Where green waves
Talk to me like rough sailors
About the wild bosom of
The mermaid
And the heady
wine of life
Where I open
and sing
Fearless harmonies
with a dreaming wind,
Where I lay down
In my respectable office apparel
Crisp shirt
And silk tie
And make angels
In the sand
The red crustacean calls me “crazy”.
The white gull calls me “In love”.
They’re both right.

Oh, my beautiful, crazy Maithri in love with life, if I were to reply using a crayon you would notice the slight trembling of my fingers in the calligraphy ... for the intense happy emotion your brilliant and delightful poem has stirred!
They are calling me for breakfast ... but I will carry this beauty with me and come back to this shore more than once again!
Enjoy a beautiful Advent Sunday, dear Maithri.
And thank you for this!
With all my love,
Margherita

Oh yes - there is no greater inspiration than nature.
The oceans, the seas, the lakes, the forests, mountains, deserts, and the forces they languish for us,; the rains, the snows, the winds, the warmth, the stillness.
And when we succumb to them, we feel crazy, we feel in love, we feel very alive and at the center of it all.
I love your poem - it sings to me Maithri.
Blessings dear friend,
Zane

For me to believe in you doesn't require that you believe in me,...it only simply requires that you know and thus become all that you are meant to be. MB
I don't know what to say
It's just beautiful and evocative and amazing!

Dear, dear Maithri,
You are truly blessed! The ability to but words into such a wonderful, heartfelt poem is the ultimate gift.
I loved the image of you making sand angels in your dress clothes. How glorious! How truly spiritual! Allowing yourself to be that childlike is so healing and fulfilling.
I give thanks for you in my life. You raise me up with your words.
Peace and Love, Linda

A lovely piece; quite the imaginery conversation having Nature call you names; thanks for sharing! --Joe
