It Really Is Just That

They say a poem's not really a poem until you share it with someone else. And that's what this place is all about.

It Really Is Just That…

There’s no hate
There is love
Even lies can’t corrupt
Though nevermore
Shall pass along eternal
Parallels of air and fire

Truth can’t be frozen
It has to breathe
Torn in two has a consequence
Both sides fall into was
While the core thrives
Without the many demands

I like this 'Janice~*'. I love the way you remind us of the ultimate powerlessness of lies and the inevitable immortality of Truth. I also like the point that when faced with an apparently unresolvable dilemma the answer is to let both scenarios go and allow your inner being to blossom without distraction from its true nature.

Signing it as Janice~* with no embellishment was nice too.....

I certainly felt moved when it surged out of me. You're welcome and my thanks right back!
