What have the fates and fickle fortune flung before us on our paths that drive us like mad charioteers to hurl our steed before us into the chasm betwixt madness and godliness?
The brace of steed, their nostrils flared,
wide-eyed yet seeing no fear, tails streaming in the blast,
hurl our chariots in-between, while we do bravely steer to follow dreams, to seek the consul of angels who would intercede between us and fear and then in the end take the reins from our hands and guide us to Paradise; a desire we all possess.

These dreams own us and fan the fires of our hearts, thus keeping us warm through the often lonely ride…

In the end when we reach said port,
we will share our tales and smiles and I shall call you mine own friend as I am surely yours.

That there is someone we care for ... that someone cares for us.... is what spurs that forward blaze of life.... yes it is. Perhaps upon arrival will be when some realize just who their true friend/s have actually been and always were.
