Two Days in December

They say a poem's not really a poem until you share it with someone else. And that's what this place is all about.

TWO DAYS IN DECEMBER

Ol’ St. Nick
His day today
The day before
Infamy day
One day faded from memory
Another haunts us without end

Dear Fred,

this is very poignant and I think I know what you talk about. There are memories that reside deep within us and stir emotions forever ... St. Nicolas is a childhood memory, it's nice, but it's certainly not a priority event.

Hugs, love and peace, dear friend.
