I think of you

They say a poem's not really a poem until you share it with someone else. And that's what this place is all about.

A Love I feel so powerful and true
Overwhelms my entire being when I think of you
Although sometimes it will fill me with sorrow
I know today won't be the same as tomorrow
The happiness somehow outweighs the sorrow that overcomes me
the tears will be replaced with a smile to set me free
everytime I think of you

Love is definitely in the air!

(Thank you for sharing this with us Caityln! ;) )

PS.... Your poem reminds me of something I read recently:
"Happiness is permanent. It is always there.
What comes and goes is unhappiness.
If you identify with what comes and goes, you will be unhappy.
If you identify with what is permanent and always there,
you are happiness itself."

To Ron's quote I would simply add this:
"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek & find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it."
~ Rumi.

I like that quote it is so true.
" live the way you tell yourself to, not what anyone else says, don't let anyone else tell you who you are or who you should be, don't let anyone or anything hold you back from doing exactly what you want to do and where you want to go "

Ron,

Thank you for the quotation you have included here. It blew me away with its truth. I have begun to experience the truth of it.

:D Well, this is a funny one. Just as I am writing this, the daily message comes in, with this very quotation!

Thank you, Ron.

Love,

Sounds like you've really found yourself someone who fills your heart with both joy and sorrow. I think it would be good to experience those at some point; means you're experiencing more to life.

However, I'm truly glad that he appears to be giving you happiness at this time. ;)

To create such a beautiful poem such as this, I am sure you fill him with just as much happiness, not to mention love, too.
