Dance

Im new and poetry is my passion but ive never made anything ive written available for anyone but myself to read, forgive me if its not the best, its just something i love to do.
i hope it gives you the same feeling poetry gives me,
enjoy!
and critisism is welcome

Dance

It began,

a single silvery drop,

falling.

soon,

in its place another droplet falls,

with a gentle grace,

not quite as far.

a mezmerizing creation,

as light glints softly off a crystalline structure.

as if to a silent beat,

one by one they fall.

Creating beauty in a midst.

For as the translucent diamonds fall to an end in seccession,

their majesty is preserved with natures smooth graceful dance.

In their place appears a single shining icicle,

and the dance is revealed,

as the dance goes on.

I loved your poem. It is a rhythmic rendition of natural thought. As you welcome criticism, here are my thoughts: it is absolutely refreshing to see a young mind find words and innocent cadence to describe the amazement at nature and its simple yet intricate workings. Write from your heart and find simplicity. I look forward to read more.
