how fun this question is lion....
hmmmm, i would have to say winter is my favorite season. just bc its nice and cold and its a perfect time to cuddle with your boyfriend , and sit by the fireplace and watch movies. plus, it the time to eat all the festivie trimming and hide it all snuggly sweaters. everyone seems a lil brighter during this time. the holiday spreads joy and everyone kinda twinkles.

I like them all, too. I think it depends where you live. Here summers are so hot I can't stand to be outside except early morn or evening. Winters are cold but I can bundle up and explore where otherwise the ground would be too soft. So, for here, spring and fall are my favorite seasons because I can work inside or outside, it is my choice. I can plant, reap, rake, or bake. I posted an old poem I wrote on this subject in the poetry forum just for you.

While all seasons are beautiful in there own climate, i must admit I'm a summer baby! i love the warmth, the longer days of sunshine, going for a cool dip in the pool, and cookouts with loved ones. there's never a dull moment in the summer, and i love that! biggrin

SUMMER is and will always be my favorite season.... I love sunshine and walking around barefoot and taking long afternoon bike rides and smelling the air right before an afternoon thunderstorm and.... well, you get the idea. wink

Great question, Lion~*

I would have to say Fall. I really like fall. I like the crispness of the air. The humidity is gone and the air is so crisp. The leaves are so beautiful. I love to take a ride and see all the different colors of the trees. The weather is not so turbulent as it can be in the spring. The sky is so blue and the mornings are cool but the day is just warm enough and then the evenings are cool and brisk. It's a great time to be outdoors and go camping and hiking.
As much as I love summer I love the fall the best.

Hugs,

Holly smile

thank you..lion... for starting this discussion...

for me..I love winter..

and snow...especially...

big snowflakes falling..a wet snow...

I always spend some time. it seems... when it snows..
watching..it snow...
reflecting...back on chapters of my life..
moments in time...

there is something so peaceful..
about waching a big snow storm..
the world slows down..
and that old saying comes to mind
"it's not what you look at..it's what you see.."

my childhood and oh the fun we had..
just being kids in the snow with our sleds..
it was such a big deal..for us..
the gift...of snow..

with my children...
the sleds..
the anticipation...
buliding the snowman..
finding the snow boots..the hats..the gloves.
putting on layers of clothes..to keep warm..
in a hurry to get out in the snow..

the hot chocolate...
the fireplace. roasting a few marshmellows..
when we came in

good times spent together..just having fun..
enjoying the.. simple pleasures..given us....
the gift of the big snowstorm..
and the possibility...of no school tomorrow..

and even now.. when our children are grown..
we with friends from our childhood..
we all.. still go to suicide hill at the plaza..with our sleds..
just being..kids again ..
for a short x..just having fun.

moments in time..to always reflect upon..
winter snow..
i love winter best..good times..good memories..

love
Rosie
