I love all your quotes, and I am planning on making a book of all quotes, from wherever I can. I read them on billboards, or signs, or wherever. There is one that I heard when I was just out of school many years ago, but I can't remember all of it. It starts off like this.
"Can and Can't once ran a race
Can fell down and hurt his face,
and ..................."
If anyone out there has heard this one, or knows it, please send it to me. I sure would appreciate it. Thanks.
I have thousands of quotes already typed up, but love getting many more.
"Seven days without prayer makes one "weak" is a good one. Also,
"If God seems distant, Who moved?"
"Knowing is not enough, we must apply; willing is not enough, we must do." by Goethe.
"Always do more than is required of you"
by General George S. Patton.
"Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see."by J.R.Tolkien.
"What you hear repeatedly, you eventually will believe." by Mike Murdock.
"All meaningful and lasting change starts on the inside and works its way out." by Bob Moawad.
I could go on forever, but there are a few. Enjoy them as I do. God Bless you all.

It is so wonderful to know that there are so many like us who endeavour to make this world a better place just by sharing a quote. Here's mine!

"There is no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and lifting someone else up." Author Unknown

A favorite of mine:

"I asked GOD for Strength and GOD gave me Difficulties to make me Strong

I asked GOD for Wisdom and GOD gave me Problems to Solve

I asked GOD for Prosperity and GOD gave me Brain and Brawn to Work

I asked GOD for Courage and GOD gave me Danger to Overcome

I asked God for Love and God gave me Troubled People to Help

I asked GOD for Favors and God gave me Opportunities

I received Nothing I Wanted and Received Everything I Needed."

Anyone know who composed this? I received it through E-Mail and would like to give credit to the Author. I needed to share this with you today just to reinforce YOU ARE LOVED!...

'You will find as you look back upon your life. . . that the moments that stand out, the moments when you have really lived. . . are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love.'

My 1st visit, what a fantastic site.
A thought for those childhood dreams, "Would the child you once were be proud of the man/woman you have become?"
Love you.

It's time to make things good, not just make do.
It's time to stop complaining and pursue
The pleasures of an ordinary life.

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Enjoy :-)
Kimberley
