There is only One God but the God that one person believes in and the God that other people believe in may not be the same. You would need to compare the attributes (if one can use the term) of the God that both parties believe in and where they believe Him to be at any given moment for anyone to search, find and experience His Divine Love and Presence which alone can give one the certainty of the Reality of the One God and the Only Divine Eternal Being and Infinite Existence.

If you believe there is only One God
Then anyone having a genuine religious experience is having it with the same God
That may put our nose out of joint but 'In my Father's house there are many mansions'
Better we discover it down here and work to do his will than get a big shock up there
