Hi, everyone. I'm 45, married to my best friend. We've been together 17 years. We don't have any kids. I am a step mom to two adults--32 & 39. We currently have one kitty. I'm self employed, working help/advice lines from home. We live a couple of hours north of SF. We've had various ups & downs. I'm glad to have found a forum which can be uplifting & encouraging.
I enjoy reading, watching sports, taking long drives (along the back roads), thrift shops, dining out, baking, dancing, movies, history, music, TV, politics, the theater, technology, etc I look forward to sharing some inspiration & developing new friendships.

I've actually gone by GypsyButterfly for the past 12 years. When I first joined forums, I would choose different user names. Often ones which would fit with the theme of the site. I finally settled on GypsyButterfly, because, I believe both Gypsies & butterflies to be freespirited, like me.
